As a general governing principle, your personal information is not shared with anybody unless you specifically give us permission to do so under the circumstances described below.
Information about you that you provide us directly when your account is created are your full name, email address, password and home address. Your full name is used as a label for your account, and in addressing you in email communication that you opted in to receive. Your email address is used as a unique identifier of your account, it is part of your login credentials and is where all our email communication you opted into is sent. Your password is part of your login credentials. It is stored in an encrypted format that nobody, even we, can decrypt or thus read. Your home address is used to obtain a location to create your initial prayer list of homes close to you.
Optional information you may provide about your blessees are their names, home addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, prayer requests, your prayer journal notes, preferred prayer reminder days, and reminder messages. All of this optional information is used solely to improve your user experience by allowing you to augment and customize your prayer list and its various functionalities.
Optional information you may provide about your Light role are a custom label, church affiliation, other Christian group affiliations, whether you wish to connect with other Light roles in your neighborhood, preferred prayer list size and geographical area, days to receive prayer reminder emails, and whether to receive names and addresses of families moving into your neighborhood. The custom label is used as a display label for your Light role. Entering your church is used to connect your Light role to a partner organization in order to make your progress count towards the overall progress of the partner organization and their affiliated parent organizations, and may be used to facilitate the sending of notifications to you about people moving into your neighborhood as managed by the partner organization. Providing other Christian group affiliations is used to connect your Light role to partner organizations in order to make your progress count towards their overall progress. Connecting your Light role with partner organizations this way allows them to have access to some of your data as described later in this document. The setting for whether you wish to connect with other Light roles in your neighborhood determines if your name and address are visible to other Light roles in your neighborhood, and whether you can see the names and addresses of other Light roles in your neighborhood with the intention of facilitating personal connections between users of our services. Your preferred prayer list size, geographical area and email reminder days are used to customize your prayer list and improve your user experience. The setting for receiving names and addresses of families moving into your neighborhood is used to signal to your church, if entered, that you wish to participate in welcoming new movers to your neighborhood and to receive email notifications about them.
You can optionally provide your personal phone number which, if you have an administrator role, we may use to reach you with issues concerning your registered account.
